 The essence is in the detail. From the highest conceptual level of the masterplan through to the minutest details of materials and finishes, Newhall is fully thought-through. The Copper Tower will weather to a beautiful verdigris finish, reinforcing the iconic status of a landmark building. The colour palette for Newhall derives from the colour theories of Philippe Lenclos. From these, using the local landscape and places such as nearby Churchgate Street, the artist and colour teacher Tom Porter created a palette that the architects have found inspirational. |
